Terms of Service

1. Weather & Safety Policy

Safe flight operations are subject to weather conditions and FAA regulations. We reserve the right to reschedule any flight due to:

  • High winds, precipitation, or low visibility.

  • Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) or GPS interference.

  • Rescheduling: If weather prevents a flight, we will reschedule at the earliest mutually available time at no additional cost to the client.

2. Compliance & Permitting

Field Drone Services LLC is responsible for all regulatory compliance. This includes:

  • Verifying FAA airspace classifications.

  • Securing necessary LAANC authorizations or waivers.

  • Ensuring the flight is legally permissible under FAA Part 107.

  • Note: If a site is determined to be in a "No Fly Zone" where a waiver cannot be obtained, the client will be notified immediately and any deposits for that specific location will be refunded.

3. Deliverables & Usage Rights

  • Payment: Full payment is due before delivery of the final assets unless otherwise agreed.

  • Licensing: Upon full payment, the client is granted a non-exclusive license to use the media for their marketing and business purposes.

  • Ownership: Field Drone Services LLC retains original copyright and may use captured media for promotional and portfolio purposes unless a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is signed.

4. Liability & Insurance

Field Drone Services operates under FAA Part 107 regulations. We maintain commercial drone liability insurance for all operations. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party platforms (e.g., website hosting or cloud delivery failures).

  • Contact details (Name, email, phone number).

  • Project locations and property addresses.

  • Payment processing information.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your information is used strictly for:

  • Scheduling and fulfilling service requests.

  • Processing payments and sending invoices.

  • Communicating regarding project updates or weather delays.

3. Data Security

Field Drone Services LLC use industry-standard tools (such as Google Workspace and Squarespace) to secure your data. We do not sell or trade your personal information to third parties.

4. Aerial Media Privacy

The privacy of neighbors and the general public is important to us. While capturing professional footage, we make every effort to avoid capturing identifiable faces or sensitive private data of uninvolved third parties.
